Singers, dancers, comedians and musicians showcased their talents on the stage of Las Vegas Academy’s Lowden Theater for the schools 2011 Annual Variety Show and Fundraiser.
Hosted by the parent volunteer group, Friends of Las Vegas Academy, this event couldn’t have come at a more important time. Nevada legislators announced proposed budget cuts for the Clark County school district totaling in the hundreds of millions of dollars – dollars that many public schools like Las Vegas Academy critically need.
